Building Safety Surveyor
Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £44,155.66 per annum
We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Building Safety Surveyor to work within our Safety and Compliance team.

In this role you will be ensuring remedial actions identified through compliance related risk assessment, inspection, servicing and testing are delivered and provide a value for money, quality service to our customers.
To succeed you’ll have a proven track record in managing the quality of contract delivery and works on site, whilst building constructive relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of asbestos, legionella, Building Regulations, Fire Regulations & Health and Safety Regulations within a housing environment is essential. You will also have knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Building Safety Cases and legislation relating to High Risk Buildings.
The NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent or a relevant compliance / health & safety / building safety qualification (or equivalent demonstrable experience) is also required.
